- 150 g carrots
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- ¼ To ½ tsp garlic salt or to taste
- ¼ tsp smoked paprika
- ⅛ tsp ground black pepper

- 1 tbsp honey sub with maple syrup
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp soy sauce
Prepare the vegetables. Wash the Brussels sprouts and dry them with a paper towel or kitchen towel. Remove the stem or bottom hard part of the brussels sprouts then cut them in half. Peel the carrots and slice diagonally or round slice them about 1/2 inch thick.
Line the sheet pan with foil or the air fryer basket for easy cleanup. Place the prepared vegetables on the sheet pan, then drizzle with olive oil and season with garlic salt, paprika and ground black pepper.
Spread the Brussels sprouts and carrots on a single layer. and air fry at 400°F for about 15 to 20 minutes. Shake the basket halfway through the cooking for even browning and to crisp up evenly.
Serve as is with your favourite main dishes as a side dish or serve as a salad tossed in a tangy sweet salad dressing.
If you like the brussels sprouts and carrots tender inside, you can boil them first for 3 to 5 minutes before air frying. Or wrap them in aluminum foil, and air fry at 400°F for 5 minutes. Then unwrap and spread the vegetables on the air fryer sheet pan or basket with the foil and air fry them for about 15 minutes or until they crisp up.
Depending on your air fryer, adjust the cooking time and temperature.
