Air Fryer Sizzling Mushrooms

Mushrooms are tossed in a bit of oil and  seasoned with salt and pepper. Air fried on a sizzling plate until tender, then garlic butter is added in the last minute. Serve on a sizzling plate and no need to transfer on a serving plate. So Easy!

Equipment

  • 1 cookerAir Fryer
  • 1 sizzling plate

Ingredients

  • ½ lb cremini mushrooms halved
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • 2 cloves garlic finely chopped

for garnish and flavour

  • parsley
  • lemon 

Instructions

  • Quickly rinse the mushrooms in a colander. Gently brush off any dirt and pat them dry with a paper towel or a kitchen towel.
  • Cut the big mushrooms into half. Place them in a bowl. Toss in olive oil, salt and pepper.
  • Add the seasoned mushrooms in the preheated sizzling plate and air fry for 5 to 7 minutes. Add the garlic butter in the last minute of cooking.
  • Serve and garnish with chopped parsley and a slice of lemon.

Notes

Avoid soaking mushrooms in water. Quickly rinse the mushrooms in a colander. Gently brush off any dirt and pat them dry with a paper towel or a kitchen towel.
For the best air fryer mushrooms, preheat the Air Fryer with the sizzling plate before cooking.
No sizzling plate, no problem. Use a baking pan instead.
