Air Fried Cabbage and Mushrooms

This quick and easy Air Fried Cabbage and Mushrooms is a great light meal or side dish. The best way to roast cabbage and mushrooms!

Equipment

  • air fryer

Ingredients

  • 250 g cabbage
  • 150 g cremini mushrooms
  • 3 tbsp melted butter unsalted or sub with olive oil

Seasoning

  • tsp salt or to taste
  • tsp ground black pepper or to taste
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp onion powder

For Garnish

  • 2 tbsp. Parmesan cheese grated
  • Dried or Fresh Parsley optional garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare the cabbage and mushrooms. Cut the cabbage into two-inch squares. Clean the mushrooms with a damp paper towel then cut them in half.
  • Season. Transfer the veggies to a mixing bowl or a plastic bag. Pour the melted butter then add the seasoning. Cover the bowl and shake to ensure the cabbage and mushrooms are seasoned evenly. Then transfer them on a baking tray or air fryer basket.
  • Air-fry. In a preheated air fryer at 400 F°, air fry the cabbage and mushrooms for about 8 to 10 minutes. Toss halfway through the air frying to cook evenly.
  • Serve. Add grated parmesan cheese and garnish with dried or fresh chopped parsley, if desired

Notes

Cooking time may vary depending on your air fryer. Also depending on how you like the texture of the cabbage to be cooked. If you like the cabbage a bit crunchy reduce the cooking time.
