- 1 lb large shrimp cleaned and deveined
- 400 ml coconut milk
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- ½ tsp sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 long green sweet chili peppers
Optional ingredients:
- 1 tsp sauteed shrimp paste
- 1 tbsp chives or green onion chopped
In a pan add the coconut milk, vinegar, and sugar. Bring to a low simmer for 5 minutes or until slightly thickened. Add sauteed shrimp paste, shrimp, and long green sweet chilli peppers. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes.
Garnish with chopped chives or green onion. Serve with steamed rice.
