- 500 g Pork loin or chops 2 slices
Pork Marinade ingredients:
- 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
- ½ tbsp olive oil
- 1-½ tbsp soy sauce low sodium
- 1 tbsp lemon juice or apple cider vinegar
- ½ tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp grain mustard or dijon mustard
- 1 tsp garlic powder or grated fresh garlic
- ½ tsp smoked paprika or substitute regular paprika, add 1/4 tsp. cumin
- ½ tsp ground black pepper
Mix all the marinade ingredients in a small bowl until blended.
Place the sliced pork in a container or a resealable bag. Pour the marinade over the pork and make sure the meat is evenly soaked in the marinade.
Marinade for at least an hour or overnight for best flavour and extra juicy meat.
Preheat the grill or cast-iron skillet to medium-high heat. Cook each side of the pork for 4 to 7 minutes or until cooked through. Cooking time can vary, depending on the thickness of the pork slices.
For thicker slices, finish cooking in preheated oven to 375°F, or close the lid on the BBQ grill until the internal temperature reaches 145°F medium-rare to 160°F medium-well.
Cover the pork with aluminum foil and let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
