Ingredients
500gmilk chocolate
50gdried cranberriesor any dried berries chopped
50graisinsor dates, prunes, chopped
50galmondsor roasted nuts, chopped into small pieces
50gwalnutsor any nuts roasted and chopped into small pieces
Gather all your ingredients and prepare the mold and tray.
In a small bowl, combine the chopped dried fruits and roasted chopped nuts. Add and divide in a silicone mold or ice cube tray. Set aside half of the dried fruits and nuts.
Tempering Chocolate. In a heatproof bowl, add the chocolate and place on top of the saucepan with simmering water.
Once the chocolate is melted, pour the mixture into a lined baking tray and silicone mold with dried fruits and nuts. Spread it out evenly using a spatula. For the Homemade fruit and nut chocolate bark, add the rest of the dried fruits and nuts on top. Gently press using a spatula or by hand to adhere to the chocolate.
Place the tray and silicone mold in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to allow the chocolate to set.
Once set, carefully remove from the silicone mold and tray. Break the Homemade fruit and nut chocolate bark into bite-sized pieces.

Tempering chocolate - The bowl mustn't be in contact with simmering water. Also, ensure the water is not at a rapid boil or high temperature to prevent the chocolate from burning, giving a gritty texture.
