Strawberry Milk with Jelly

This Korean Strawberry Milk with jelly is made of fresh strawberries & homemade strawberry syrup made of frozen strawberries. A favourite Korean strawberry drink made with fresh chunky strawberries!

Strawberry Milk with jelly Ingredients

Strawberry Jello -or substitute with red gelatine powder then add strawberry puree.

Fresh strawberries -slice into cubes or small pieces or however you like it.

Strawberry syrup– you can use frozen or fresh strawberries. Mash it up or puree in a blender or use an immersion blender.

Milk – I used 3.25% whole milk or substitute with 2% milk, coconut milk or almond milk.

Optional toppings

Whipped cream or ice cream (vanilla or strawberry ice cream)

How to make Strawberry Milk with jelly

Start by washing and soaking the strawberries with salt for a few minutes to remove some dirt and pesticides.

How to make strawberry syrup

Make the strawberry syrup. Mash or puree the strawberries with all the ingredients and bring into a simmer until slightly thickened. Set aside and let it cool. You can make this ahead and keep it refrigerated.

How to make strawberry jelly for strawberry milk

Make the strawberry jelly. Follow the instructions in the strawberry jello package. Add pureed or mashed strawberry if desired to add more natural strawberry flavour. Then use a strainer while pouring in a rectangular heatproof container, about ¾ of an inch for easy slicing into cubes. Set aside to let it set. You can also make this ahead and keep in a fridge until ready to use.

Assemble the strawberry milk. Slice the jelly into cubes then add into the glass. Add the fresh cubed strawberries. Tilt the glass and slowly pour the syrup inside around the glass while rotating. Then pour the cold milk.
