Mini Pear Tarts

This Mini Pear Tarts Recipe is quick and easy to make. Made of store-bought mini tart shells. Filled with easy-to-make pear pie filling that is perfectly spiced, baked and caramelized,  topped with chopped walnuts. This quick dessert or snack can be ready in 30 minutes!

How to make Mini Pear Tarts

Preheat the oven to 375°F, while preparing the pear pie filling.

Make the pear pie filling. Peel, core and dice the pears and transfer to a small bowl. Add the rest of the pear pie filling ingredients and mix until incorporated.

Filling the mini tart shells. Arrange the mini tart shells on a baking sheet or use a muffin pan. Fill the tart shells up to the top with the pear pie filling. Topped with chopped raw walnuts, if desired.

Bake in the preheated oven at 375°F for 20 to 25 minutes. Let it cool on a cooling rack.

Best tastes to served with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

  • 6 mini tart shells frozen
For the Pear pie filling ingredients:
  • 2 pears
  • tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • ½ tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar packed
  • ½ tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • a pinch of nutmeg and salt
For the optional topping
  • ¼ cup raw walnuts roughly chopped
