Pulled Pork Wonton Tacos

Have a leftover pulled pork? Make these delicious Pulled pork wonton tacos, made of crispy wonton wrapper filled with coleslaw, tossed on a  flavourful Asian dressing. A great way to use up your leftover pulled pork. It’s a perfect appetizer or snack!

How to Make Pulled Pork Wonton Tacos

In a pan. Heat an inch of vegetable oil on medium-high heat. Using a food tong fold the wonton wrapper into a triangle. Fry each side until golden brown. About 20 to 30 seconds on each side. Make sure you have at least two inches opening of the folded fried wonton wrapper.
  • Place the fried wonton wrapper on a tray lined with a paper towel or a cooling rack to drip the excess oil. Set aside.
  • In a bowl, add all the coleslaw ingredients and Asian dressing. Toss to combined.
  • Spoon about 2 tablespoons of pulled pork with barbecue sauce and then top with the coleslaw and garnish with chopped parsley.

Ingredients

for frying about 500 ml of canola oil

  • 8 wonton wrappers

Coleslaw Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cabbage Shredded
  • 1 cup carrot julienne
  • 1 tbsp shallot finely chopped

For garnish:

  • 2 tbsp parsley chopped

Asian dressing ingredients: Yield ⅓ cup

  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar or red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce low sodium
  • ½ tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • ½ tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • ½ tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp sesame oil
  • ½ tsp ginger grated
  • ½ tsp garlic grated
  • ½ tsp shallot finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
